​Due to ongoing concerns relating to COVID-19, the MACDDS Board & Conference Committee have made the decision to cancel the Annual Conference originally scheduled for September 30-October 1 in Columbia, Missouri.  The health and well-being of our members, exhibitors, speakers, and guests is of the utmost importance and we feel this is the best decision.

Instead of meeting in-person, MACDDS will be hosting virtual professional development offerings for its members on a regular basis.  The first of these opportunities will be with Kelsey Tainsh (our originally scheduled keynote speaker).  Kelsey will present virtually to the group on her originally scheduled day of Thursday, September 30, beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Immediately following Kelsey’s virtual presentation will be the MACDDS Awards Ceremony from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., which will also be held virtually.

The presenters originally scheduled to present at the Annual Conference have been notified of the cancellation.  They have also been invited to present to the MACDDS membership in a virtual format, and many have already agreed to join us virtually.  Watch for additional details coming soon as we finalize details with these presenters.
