Mission Statement
The mission of our agency is to determine the support needs of Livingston County persons with developmental disabilities, and to meet these needs by working in close partnership with affiliated service agencies.

Livingston County New Horizons provides and/or funds the following services for Livingston County persons with developmental disabilities:
- Individualized Supported Living
- Supported Employment
- Sheltered Employment
- Transportation
- Personal Assistant Services
- Independent Living Assistance
- Community Living/Recreational Activities
- Day Habilitation
- Therapeutic Horseback Riding
- Emergency Housing Assistance-MACDDS Grant Funds
- Self Advocacy (People First)
- Misc. Consumer Support Services
Referral/Eligibility
Services and assistance are available to all Livingston County persons who have a developmental disability as defined by Section 630.005 of the Revised Missouri Statutes. There is no financial means-testing for services, and services are available to all age levels.
Board of Directors Meetings
Board meetings take place at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month in the following months:

- August
- October
- November
All meetings take place at the New Horizons office at 920 Clinefelter in Chillicothe, and all meetings are open to the public per the Missouri Sunshine Law, unless otherwise indicated.
